My Super-Cool Voicemail Greeting

A while back I was bored and decided to come up with a creative new voice mail greeting. Here it is:
Hey!Press star any time to skip this message and go straight to the beep!
If you don’t want to leave a message, you can call me back later, text me, or just hang up.
But since you're still here, let me confirm a few things.
- Yes, you did reach the number you dialled.
- And this really is my voicemail.
- Which you can skip by pressing star.
Since you’re still here, sit back and relax. This might take a while!
You probably already guessed that I’m either screening my calls, away from my phone, or I just didn’t hear it ring.
And I’m sure you know the drill. Wait for the tone; then leave a message:
- Leave your name if I won’t recognize your voice.
- Your number if I don’t already know it.
- And your reason for calling, ‘cuz I’m not psychic! If I was, would you really be leaving voicemails?
And next time you call, save yourself some time, and press star, it will take you straight to the: *beep*
And yes, pressing star really does work if your service provider is Fido, and it may work with other providers as well.
Moms and Mani-Pedis

Here are my top 3 reasons why at-home mother-daughter mani-pedis are a terrible idea:
- "Try beige, dear. This red one makes you look like a prostitute".
- "Mom, is that pet hair sticking to my toenails?!? Have you been letting the cat sleep on the bed again?"
- "Oh dear. My eyesight just isn't what it used to be. Let me try again! You know, when I was your age, I used to give the most amazing pedicures!"
